How often should I change my engine oil in Dubai?
Given Dubai's hot climate and stop-and-go traffic, we recommend oil changes every 5,000 to 8,000 km for conventional oil and every 10,000 to 15,000 km for fully synthetic oil. Harsh driving conditions like frequent short trips and heavy traffic can accelerate oil degradation.
How much does an oil change cost in Dubai?
Our oil change service starts from 150 AED for a standard 4-cylinder car using semi-synthetic oil. Fully synthetic oil changes range from 250 AED to 600 AED depending on the oil grade (0W-20, 5W-30, 5W-40) and the quantity required. All prices include a new oil filter and labour.
What type of oil do you use?
We stock premium brands including Mobil 1, Castrol Edge, Shell Helix, and Liqui Moly. Our technicians recommend the correct viscosity grade based on your manufacturer's specifications and Dubai's climate. We typically recommend 5W-40 for most cars in UAE conditions.
What is included in your oil change service?
Our oil change service includes draining old oil, replacing the oil filter, refilling with fresh oil of your chosen grade, checking other fluid levels (coolant, brake fluid, power steering), and a 10-point visual inspection of belts, hoses, and suspension components. Completed in under 45 minutes at our Ras Al Khor workshop.
Can I bring my own engine oil?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own oil. We will charge a labour fee of 50 AED for the oil change service including filter replacement. However, we recommend using our premium oils as we ensure they are genuine, properly stored, and the correct grade for your vehicle.
