Transmission

Automatic and manual transmission repair and maintenance in Dubai.

What are the signs of transmission problems?

Common symptoms include rough or delayed gear shifting, slipping gears, strange noises (whining, clunking, humming) when in gear, a burning smell from the transmission fluid, transmission warning lights, and fluid leaks under your vehicle. Early diagnosis can prevent a full transmission failure and save thousands in repair costs.

How much does transmission repair cost in Dubai?

Minor transmission repairs such as solenoid replacement or valve body repair start from 800 AED. A full automatic transmission overhaul ranges from 3,500 AED to 8,000 AED depending on the vehicle make and model. European luxury cars like BMW and Mercedes are at the higher end due to parts costs.

Do you service CVT transmissions?

Yes, we service CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) systems found in Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Subaru vehicles. We perform CVT fluid changes, belt and pulley inspections, and full CVT rebuilds. A CVT fluid change costs 350–600 AED and is recommended every 40,000 km in UAE conditions.

How often should I change transmission fluid?

For Dubai driving conditions, we recommend automatic transmission fluid (ATF) changes every 40,000 to 60,000 km. CVT fluid should be changed every 40,000 km. Neglecting fluid changes is the leading cause of transmission failure in Dubai's heat. A transmission fluid flush costs from 250 AED.

Do you repair dual-clutch transmissions (DCT/DSG)?

Yes, we specialise in dual-clutch transmission repair including Volkswagen DSG, Audi S-Tronic, BMW DKG, and Ford Powershift. We perform mechatronic unit repairs, clutch pack replacement, and software adaptations. DCT clutch replacement starts from 2,500 AED, significantly cheaper than dealership rates in Dubai.
